Minnesota is big on Manufacturing.
Every October, there is a statewide effort to raise awareness of in-demand manufacturing careers. We have participated for at least the last decade.
Today, we had the exciting opportunity to welcome 75 of the 650 students in Northeast Minnesota who are part of this year's Tour of Manufacturing event. This initiative is a chance for young minds to explore the inner workings of local industries.
Our manufacturing facility was one of the 30 featured stops, and the students got an exclusive look into how our custom aviation seat covers and flooring kits are crafted. From the initial design to the final product, we showcased our state-of-the-art technology and skilled team in action. We discussed career pathways in CAD, CNC, Quality, Design, Sewing, Production, Estimating, and more.
We believe it’s important to inspire the next generation to become innovators, creators, and tinkerers. By engaging students with hands-on demonstrations, we aim to open their eyes to the dynamic world of manufacturing.
